What do my loved ones receive if I don't give proof of life?

They receive an email with a secure link to a private portal accessible for 3 months to view and download your digital legacy (messages, media, and documents). After this period, all your data is permanently deleted from our servers.

Do my loved ones need to install the app to access my memories?

No, absolutely not. Your loved ones do not need an account or any application: they receive a secure link by email and can view and download your memories directly in any desktop web browser. As an optional bonus, if they install the app and log in with their email, they will also receive an instant push notification in addition to the email.
